Players could challenge someone ranked up to two positions above them.
Tennis Club 2023 season · 网球俱乐部
One year, two ways to grow: a spring ladder built around competition and a fall club centered on instruction, confidence, and fun!
A multi-week competition where every match could change the standings.
The season began with a live drawing to set the starting order across starter, intermediate, and advanced divisions for singles and doubles. Players then arranged their own matches and kept climbing!
A victory meant swapping positions and earning a new place on the ladder.
The May 27 closing ceremony recognized everyone’s effort and crowned the award winners!

In His Own Words: Derek Yao
USTA Middle States recognized Derek with a Junior Sportsmanship Award and invited him to share what tennis, community, and AAPI Heritage Month mean to him.
In the feature, Derek reflects on helping start the HXCS-LV Tennis Club and on how the sport brings together players and coaches from many different backgrounds.
Fundamentals, focused practice, and more ways to learn.
Players worked on forehands, backhands, volleys, and serves while more advanced students continued building on those foundations. Ball machines added variety and gave coaches more opportunities to observe each player.
