Lehigh Valley Chinese School Wraps Up 2024-2025 Academic Year
Sunday May 11 marked the successful conclusion of our 2024-2025 school year. The campus was filled with laughter and joy as each class celebrated their learning achievements in special ways.
Our debate team had much to celebrate – all 13 students who participated in competitions received awards from the school. In the Ma Liping Level 8 class, five outstanding students − Melody Ai, Ryan Shan, Sophia Chen, Sophie Law, and Daisha Zhang − successfully completed the program and passed the HSK−4 exam. Special congratulations to Melody for her exceptional results, earning her the “Outstanding Graduate” title with additional recognition.

The school board prepared coffee and snacks, while many parents contributed homemade treats like taro pastries and mung bean cakes – the traditional desserts were particularly popular. Everyone enjoyed the food while sharing memories from the past year.

This year brought many positive changes: our new adult Chinese classes were well-received, and the relaunched lunch and bubble tea service solved mealtime challenges. From farm tours and Halloween events to Chinese New Year performances, each activity brought our school community closer together. We’re especially proud that our school became a certifying organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award, recognizing our dedicated volunteers.
We’d like to extend special thanks to teachers Wang Yali and Liu Ruojing who will be leaving us, and to every teacher, parent, student, and volunteer who helped make this another great year.
Wishing everyone a wonderful summer break! We look forward to seeing you all next semester!
